In a statement, the ISPR said that 15 terrorists were killed in aerial strikes in Shawal area of North Waziristan while 28 terrorists were killed in Ghalamai area.

Earlier, the military strikes killed at least 25 terrorists when fighter jets bombarded hideouts of terrorists in the Shawal Tehsil of North Waziristan on Wednesday.

The armed forces have intensified the air strikes in the tribal region believed to be a safe haven for terrorists since the assassination of the Punjab Home Minister Colonel (retd) Shuja Khanzada.

Shuja Khanzada along with 16 other people were killed when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives at the minister’s public office in Punjab’s Attock district on last Sunday.
