ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and his wife Rehman Khan will to go Saudi Arabia to perform pilgrimage this year, sources in the PTI told on Tuesday.

The sources said that in this regard, the renewed religious Maulana Tariq Jameel extended an invitation to Imran Khan which the later accepted.

The meeting between the two leaders took place on Monday evening when Maulana along with wife visited Imran Khan’s residence in Bani Gala for Iftar dinner.

The two leaders accompanied by their wives had Iftar dinner together and also held a bilateral meeting.

In July last year, Maulana Tariq Jameel visited the PTI Chairman’s residence and suggested him to get married. Maulana also asked Imran Khan to replace the name of Tsunami March with Azadi March.

Later in August, Imran Khan led the Azadi March from Lahore to Islamabad in protest against the alleged rigging in 2013 general elections and continued to stage that at D-Chowk for over four months.

On January 8, 2015, Imran Khan tied the knot with television journalism Reham Khan. Later in the same month, the couple also performed Umrah.
