ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed annoyance over massive load shedding being carried out across the country especially at ‘Iftar’ and ‘Sahr’ timings.

In a meeting with the prime minister in Islamabad on Saturday, the Secretary Water and Power Younus Dagha as per his directives submitted a preliminary report about the nationwide power outrage.

The prime minister was informed that there was an unprecedented surge in power demand on the first day of the month of Ramazan which necessitated forced load shedding for some time.
