QUETTA: Balochistan National Party (BNP) Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal on Thursday announced that he would come back to Pakistan from Dubai on March 25 and convened the party’s central committee meeting on March 26 in Karachi, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

The BNP’s Central Committee would decide whether to contest the May 11 general elections or not, while the electoral candidates would also be finalized in the meeting, sources from the BNP said.

On the other hand, Dr. Jahanzeb Jamaldini, the acting president of BNP, has summoned the applications of those willing to contest elections on National and Provincial assemblies’ seats on BNP’s tickets.
