PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has lauded the role of the Frontier Constabulary (FC) in war against terror.
The appreciation came when the minister was addressing the passing out parade of the FC in Peshawar on Friday.
Later talking to media, Nisar said that the war on terror will continue till elimination of the last terrorist.
The interior minister said that the political and military leadership is on the same page to eliminate terrorism. He said that the backbone of terrorists has been broken as a result of the military operation Zarb-e-Azb.
The minister said that the terrorists tried to divide the nation by holding talks with government as well as continuing terrorist activities. He said that the government had no other option but to launch operation against terrorists.
In reply to a question, Chaudhry Nisar said that the federal government wants to take all provinces into confidence on national issues.
