15 killed in separate road accidents in Punjab, KPK

LAHORE, Pakistan: At least 15 persons were killed while several others sustained injuries in separate road accidents in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

The sources said that out of 15, 11 persons lost their lives in separate road accidents in Punjab alone as dense fog blanketed several parts of the province.

A collision occurred between a truck and a passenger van at Qadirabad road near Punjab’s Mandi Bahauddin district due to heavy fog on Thursday that left four persons dead and four others injured.

The dead bodies and injured persons were shifted to a nearby hospital.

Likewise, three persons were killed in another road accident that took place at Jhang Road in Sargodha.

The details of other accidents occurred in Punjab today were not received immediately.

Separately, four persons were killed and another 15 injured in a collision between an oil tanker and a bus on Indus Highway in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The bus was going to Peshawar from Karachi when it collided with the tanker.
