CNG will not be available in Punjab on October 7 & 8

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The gas supply to compressed natural gas (CNG) stations in Punjab would remain suspended on October 7 and 8 due to maintenance work at Qadirpur gas field, the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Ltd (SNGPL) said on Saturday.

In a statement, the SNGPL said that the government had announced CNG stations in Punjab would supply CNG on all three days of Eidul Azha.

However, due to maintenance work at Qadirpur field, it would not be possible to provide gas on second and third days of Eid, it added.

It said that gas would be available on the first day of Eid and other days.
