Imran Khan challenges PML-N to prove rigging in KPK

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday challenged the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)-led government to prove rigging in the general elections held last year in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In his address to his party rally participants in Islamabad’s red zone area on Friday, Imran Khan challenged any political party to lead a march to Peshawar if they believe elections were rigged in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Imran Khan said that he will hold re-elections in the province if they manage to gather even a fraction of the people that have marched to Islamabad.

“You hold reelections in the rest of Pakistan, I will hold reelections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” Imran Khan said, pointing to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. But there should be a neutral umpire, he added.
