Hamid Mir Attacked: Judicial Commission starts proceedings on April 28 (Monday)

Karachi: The judicial commission that has been formed by the government to investigate attack on Geo News anchorperson Hamid Mir will start its proceedings from Monday. Commission will continue proceedings till May 2, 2014 from April 28, 2014. Commission has issued notices  to Home Secretary Sindh, IG Police, DG Rangers, Joint Director Intelligence Bureau (IB), DIG East and DIG Special Branch. The Commission comprises Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rahman and Justice Ejaz Afzal.

Joint Investigation Team (JIT) will submit its report to Judicial Commission about investigation of murder attempt on Hamid Mir and JIT can ask special permission from Judicial Commission to interrogation important persons including the top administration of Jang Group of Publication and Geo Television.
