PESHAWAR: Explosive material was inside Tablighi markaz? Initial reports coming from bomb disposal authorities claim that blast was not because of blasting of gas cylinder as claimed by authorities of Tablighi markaz. Media was not allowed to go inside the place to see what happened? Police was tight lipped to tell what was the nature of blast? This Markaz has very strong security of its own therefore it looks impossible that some one could take such huge explosive material inside the place from outside without the support of some insider or authorities. Everybody is checked by security guards of Tablighi Markaz and police is not allowed to go inside this place. Bomb disposal reports claim it was not a suicide attack and just explosive went out.
It may be mentioned that an explosion took place at a Tablighi markaz on Pajaggi road in Peshawar on Thursday evening, killing at least eight persons and injuring 67 persons. The blast occurred when more than 800 people were inside the Tablighi markaz and offering Maghrib prayers.
The injured persons were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar for medical treatment. Meanwhile, police personnel and rescue teams reached the blast site.
