ISLAMABAD: The government is focusing on implementation of e-office project at all ministries and divisions as part of its efforts to ensure transparency and accountability.

Officials said initially the project has been implemented at the ministry of information and technology it is now being executed in the Prime Minister House‚ planning commission and the national assembly. After that the government project will be replicated in all the federal government institutions.

In the next stage‚ this project will be expanded to the provinces.

The implementation of this project will help not only improve efficiency of the federal and provincial departments in service delivery but also ensure transparency and end of corruption in public sector projects.
