RAWALAKOT: A young man was killed whereas his sister was severely injured as a mortar shell fired by the Indian army exploded on a house in Donga Gambhir on Monday morning, prompting Pakistani Rangers to respond with retaliatory firing.

According to reports, Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) personnel began unprovoked firing across the Line of Control (LoC) in Rawalakot’s Battal sector in the early hours of Monday morning.

Pakistani troops effectively responded to the Indian firing.
