DND News: Russian company “TEXHOTEKC,” will invest in Afghanistan’s agriculture sector and chemical fertilizer production, reports Afghan media.

In a meeting held in Kabul between Sadr Azam Osmani, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Afghanistan with Adamyan Suren Rachikovich, CEO of the TEXHOTEKC, it was decided that Russian company will export chemical fertilizers to Afghanistan, while in the next phase, a chemical fertilizer production factory will be established in Afghanistan.

According to business circles in Kabul, the Russian governments wants to bridge Afghan Taliban’s regime in all sectors where Afghanistan is facing problems due suspension of trade with Pakistan that was sole provider of fertilizer to Afghanistan in past. Business circles maintained that Russia will soon start sending fertilizers to Afghanistan via Uzbekistan that is nearest route for Russian trade to Afghanistan and that is already supporting Kabul to establish trade globally through Uzbekistan land routes.
