Islamabad, Pakistan: Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) has a long history of meddling with Pakistan’s foreign relations and has been targeting foreign countries such as France, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Canada by threatening these countries on different occasions.
Now it is targeting a particular US fast-food chain, and one of the guards of this chain was murdered by an unruly mob in Peshawar. Since government of Pakistan is voicing that it will make Pakistan a hard state where everything would be in accordance the law therefore this is the duty of the government to act and punish all those who believe in mob rule and government should tell them that the use of violence is only prerogative of the State under modern states settings.
TLP uses social media networks for its campaign and its hate-mongering. The Jews earn the most from Facebook, WhatsApp, and YouTube. Why don’t they stop using them? There are also blasphemous videos on YouTube that YouTube is not even deleting. Should TLP not leave using Facebook and YouTube?
Strangely, TLP targets western countries by leaving aside what India is doing to Muslims in India as well as in Indian occupied Kashmir. Why are TLP followers quite on the rape of Muslim women in India, martyring of mosques under new Indian rules and lynching of Muslims on eating Halal meat?
There are more questions TLP should answer, and some of them include:
- Why does TLP always remain silent on acts of TTP terrorists who are martyring mosques and targeting innocent Muslims inside them?
- Why are TLP followers silent about the massacre and destruction that the enemies of Balochistan have unleashed against the unarmed Muslims? Aren’t they Muslims? Won’t TLP be questioned about them?
Over the past few days, armed attacks have been carried out by violent elements of TLP on branches of the fast food chain “KFC” in different cities of Pakistan. During this, citizens present there, especially women, were mistreated, foul language was used, and even beaten up.
The sad thing is that an attempt is being made to destroy the peace of Pakistan using the logic of attacks on Palestine by Israel, and the offices and shops of international corporate chains are under attack. This method of protest is not only immoral and illegal, but it also benefits the enemy and harms only the Pakistani economy and people. The position of the government of Pakistan regarding Palestine and Gaza is very clear, and the government of Pakistan is with its Palestinian brothers. Here, it is also important to understand that the religion of Islam teaches peace, patience, and tolerance, and Islam has strictly forbidden spreading sedition. Allah Almighty says:
“And do good as Allah has done good to you, and do not seek violence in the land. Indeed, Allah does not love the corrupters”. This blessed verse is a clear message that attacks on private property or damaging business establishments are completely against Islamic teachings.
In Pakistan, malicious elements have made it a habit that in the name of protest, they start vandalism to fulfill their nefarious objectives at the behest of the anti-national forces, and behind which there is a systematic planning. Sometimes this vandalism is done in the name of religion, and sometimes to achieve political objectives, which is not acceptable in any way.
The state has decided unequivocally that the miscreants who do this should be dealt with iron hands according to the Constitution of Pakistan.
If TLP really wants to express solidarity with the Muslims of Palestine, then instead of destroying people’s property, they should stop using social media created by Western countries, of which TLP itself is the biggest user and from which they are making millions of dollars a day from YouTube etc. – then it will be known that they are boycotting Western things. Similarly, TLP should stop using Western goods and facilities like ships, cars, air conditioners, etc., so that the boycott can be practically shown to Pakistanis in the true sense.
TLP has decided to gather at Faizabad, Islamabad-Rawalpindi intersection on May 1, 2025, to wage war on Israel as it believes that Faizabad borders Palestine.
TLP’s relations with Faizabad and Faiz Hameed are quite infamous, and now the state must tell the TLP that Faizabad is here but not Faiz Hameed. TLP has directed its followers to reach Faizabad with full “preparation” and it is understood what does it mean by preparation— that is planning to sit at Faizabad for days or months as it did with connivance of Faiz Hameed when he was two-star general but he is no more even a solider as he is being under Court martial. TLP should consider the fact that the state has decided to deal with all elements with iron hands who will try to destroy the peace of the country. This dhara will be a test also for the Punjab government on how it would deal with it, because now the PMLN government will have no excuse if it fails to stop TLP from gathering at Faizabad, because “Faiz Hameed” was behind the scenes.
