Monitoring Desk: The fruits of the efforts made by the government of Pakistan, the military leadership, and all stakeholders have started to emerge. Pakistan’s economy is getting stronger day by day, and economic indicators are also promising a better future. Those who dream of Pakistan’s bankruptcy have themselves become politically bankrupt.
The promising news regarding the economy is that in March 2025, remittances exceeded 4 billion US dollars for the first time in Pakistan’s history, and an inflow of 4.1 billion US dollars was recorded.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan’s announcement, in terms of growth, remittances increased by 37.3 percent and 29.8 percent on a year-on-year and month-on-month basis, respectively.
According to the SBP statement, during the fiscal year 2025, remittances from overseas Pakistanis increased by 33.2% to US$28 billion from July to March, while US$21 billion was received during July to March in the fiscal year 2024. During March 2025, a large portion of remittances was received from Saudi Arabia ($987.3 million), the United Arab Emirates ($842.1 million), the United Kingdom ($683.9 million), and the United States ($419.5 million).
On November 26 last year, a final protest call was given by the PTI, which was foiled by the federal government and security agencies with great wisdom and excellent strategy, after which a drama of dead bodies was created, which has not been revealed yet. After the disastrous failure of this final protest call, the founder of PTI called for civil disobedience, boycott of military products, and not sending remittances. Not a single Pakistani has heeded the call for civil disobedience yet. On February 12, 2025, a message was posted from the PTI official X account saying that if there are no rights, then there will be no remittances either. Similarly, on February 11, 2025, an X message was posted from Imran Khan calling for a boycott of remittances. On February 14, 2025, a post was posted from the PTI official X account saying that if there is no democracy, no rights, no justice, and no freedom, then there will be no remittances either.
The saddest thing came to light on March 5, 2025, when a post was posted from the PTI’s X account that remittances should not be sent to the government but funds should be sent to Shaukat Khanum Hospital. This is the mentality of those who use even a welfare institution for their dirty politics. On March 24, 2025, an appeal to stop remittances also surfaced from the official X account of PTI. On December 29, 2024, the fugitive Shahbaz Gul posted from his X account that it had been decided not to send remittances. Similarly, this fugitive posted on December 26, 2024, that all overseas Pakistanis are requested to stop sending remittances to Pakistan.
After all this situation, the question is that these remittances of more than 4 billion have arrived within a month, which has set a new record, this is the answer of patriotic Pakistanis sitting abroad, should these miscreants, enemies of the country and those who destroyed the Pakistani economy not apologize now…? This chaotic group has been running a campaign to stop remittances since December last year, and the situation is that despite the campaign, overseas Pakistanis have sent remittances with a record increase.
The most important question here is why all this happened. The biggest reason for this is that just as the proud people in Pakistan have detached themselves from the anti-national narrative of PTI, similarly, the patriotic Pakistanis overseas have also come to understand the mischief of Imran Khan. The second important reason is that how is it possible that Pakistanis who are going abroad to earn for their families do not send money? If the money does not come, who will pay the fees of their children? Who will run their household expenses? Was all this supposed to be done by the PTI? So now, the founder of PTI and his party should understand that the common people of Pakistan, whether they are in the country or abroad, have come to understand the mischief of the PTI.
