In his message on Pakistan Day, the ambassador said that “This auspicious occasion marks the historic moment of the adoption of resolution aimed at creating independent state of Pakistan, under the sagacious and visionary leadership of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

This Day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our ancestors and visionary leaders who envisioned a homeland for the Muslims of sub-continent. It also marks the turning point in our freedom struggle, and creation of a country imagined by the great Muslim poet, philosopher and thinker Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

Pakistani diaspora has made immense contribution in the progress and economic development of the UAE. On this Day, I convey my sincere gratitude to the UAE leadership for hosting more than 1.7 million Pakistanis in the Emirates. It is incumbent upon us to demonstrate utmost respect for the local laws, regulations, and customs of our host Country. Let us strive to be exemplary citizens, embodying the spirit of peace, progress, harmony and tolerance, while contributing positively to the vibrant UAE’s multicultural society.”

Ambassador Faisal Tirmizi said that “Furthermore, I urge each member of the Pakistani community to embrace the principles of honesty, integrity, and diligence in all endeavors. By exhibiting unwavering dedication and sincerity in our pursuits, we will make our nation proud and can play an important role in the advancement and economic prosperity of Pakistan.

Together, let us forge ahead with determination and optimism, seizing every opportunity to make meaningful contributions in fostering strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE.

May this Pakistan Day inspire us to reaffirm our commitment to the ideals of unity, progress, and prosperity, as we continue our journey towards a brighter and more inclusive future for all. Happy Independence Day!”
