CrimeBB murder case: Musharraf not produced in ATC over ‘security concerns’

ISLAMABAD: Former president Pervez Musharraf was not produced in Anti-Terrorism Court of Rawalpindi for his indictment in Benazir murder case due to security reasons.

ATC judge Chaudhry Habib Urrehman heard the case today and expressed displeasure over CCPO and sought explanation from him for not producing the former military ruler, who is under house arrest, for the indictment.

The CCPO said Musharraf could not be produced over security reasons.

Adjourning the case till July 30, the judge ordered authorities to produce Musharraf in Adiala jail or in the ATC on the next hearing, or else jail trial of the accused will be started.
