ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that he is proud to have excellent relationship with the establishment.

“I have been the apple of the eye of establishment since last 30 years,” said Shahbaz Sharif in a meeting with anchorpersons and bureau chiefs in Islamabad on Saturday.

The prime minister said that he never denied his relationship with the establishment.

Shahbaz Sharif said that though their vote bank had been affected but they saved the State of Pakistan by sacrificing their politics.

About the annulment of the Supreme Court (Review of Judgments and Orders) Act 2023 by the Apex Court, he said that it would not make any difference to Nawaz Sharif, adding that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Quaid’s disqualification had ended after five years and there was no obstacle in his return to Pakistan.
