There are approximately 1.7 million Pakistani nationals living and working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), making 17 percent of the Country’s total population.

Not only there are making a substantial contribution to the UAE’s economy but a strong Pakistani diaspora in the Emirates is also playing a significant role in the progress and development of Pakistan. How Pakistanis in UAE Can Travel for less than Rs 15,000

In the first nine month of the ongoing Fiscal Year (July-March 2022-23), the remittances sent by the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE stood at US$ 3,604.3 million.

As Pakistan remains to be their home Country, they often travel to their native towns to meet their families and friends. However, amid the soaring inflation, it has become quite difficult for them to travel so much.

But since the Wizz Air Abu Dhabi – the UAE’s ultra-low-cost airline – is about to launch its flights to Pakistan soon once the regulatory procedures are completed, Pakistanis living in the Emirates could travel for less than Rs 15,000 only.

The low-cost airline is quite popular for its discount ticket sales of Dh179 (UAE Dirhams). Therefore, once it gets the go-ahead for Pakistan routes, Pakistanis will also enjoy flights at ultra-cheap airfares. How Pakistanis in UAE Can Travel for less than Rs 15,000

If people really want a good offer, they can join Wizz Discount Club, which gives access to promotions year-round and exclusive discounts for Club members. Some of the promotions are exclusive to club members. People can get not just Dh179 tickets but even lower prices,” the Officer and Managing Director for Wizz Air Abu Dhabi Johan Eidhagen told Khaleej Times.

The Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company (ADQ) and the Hungarian Wizz Air Holdings.

Launched in October 2020, the airline operates flights from Abu Dhabi International Airport to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
