  • Mushaal urges G20 nations to oppose India’s bid to hold summit in disputed territory

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organization, Mushaal Hussein Mullick made it clear that the notorious Narendra Modi-led government’s plan to hold G20 Summit in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) aimed at misleading the world about IIOJK’s real situation would not work, because now India is known for its notoriety worldwide.

Mushaal, wife of an incarcerated hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, said in a statement on Tuesday that fascist India wanted to host G20 meeting in Srinagar was part of the broader strategy to create hoax and false impression and illusion of stability and normalcy in the strife-stricken and war-torn scenic valley.

The Hurriyat leader vowed that Kashmiris would never allow Modi to dilute the Kashmir’s disputed status by holding G20 meet in the territory.

Mushaal urged that Pakistan should undertake pragmatic measures to prevent India from violating the UN resolutions on IIOJK and exercised its legal right as a ‘disputant party’ and sought appropriate remedy before UNGA, UNSC, OIC and SAARC to ensure resolution of the decades-old problems.

The Chairperson urged that G20 nations must oppose India’s bid to hold moot in UN-designated disputed territory of Kashmir, as the moot was organizing in Srinagar was mere to divert attention from India’s massive and large-scale human rights violations in the valley.

Mushaal Mullick reminded that that G20 members must bear in mind that Kashmir was an internationally recognized disputed territory and holding such event in the disputed place would dent their image worldwide.

Because, Mushaal stated, that Modi regime was seeking international consent to all its crimes against Kashmiris through G20 meeting in Srinagar and G20 countries would be seen siding with the oppressor if they accept Modi’s invitation to hold meeting in IIOJK, as New Delhi was exploiting G20 forum to achieve its ulterior motives viz-a-viz Kashmir.

The Kashmir leader went on to say that India was continuously peddling false propaganda to push the false narrative of so-called normalcy returning to IIOJK; however, the notion had no feet to stand on.

India wants to give legitimacy to its illegally actions of 5 august 2019 by holding G20 summit in IIOJK, which has put the peace of entire South Asian in jeopardy, she added.

Mushaal vowed that Kashmiris’ cry for right to self-determination could not be silenced through illegal action of 5 August 2019 and the worst state barbarism and terrorism and added that Kashmiris’ struggle would continue till the implementation of UN resolutions.

Mushaal Mullick said that Kashmiris were determined to protect their unique identity and culture, come what may.

However, the Chairperson demanded that international community, UN bodies and Human right organizations must impress upon India to withdraw its unconstitutional decision of 5 August 2019 and let the Kashmiri people decide their own fate as per the UN agreed formula.
