ISLAMABAD: Speaking on the demands for grants of the Ministry of Finance‚ Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that due to indiscipline in the past the debts have raised to a drastic level. He said we will have to stop this indiscipline.

He said the circular debt would be cleared in two months to overcome the energy crisis. He said 370 billion rupees private sector circular debts would be cleared before the start of Ramazan to provide relief to the masses during the holy month.

He said the entire essential items including‚ fruits‚ vegetables‚ meat‚ poultry and dairy products have been exempted from the sales tax and strict action will be taken against those violating the laws.
