QUETTA: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said a female suicide bomber carried out bomb blast in the bus of the woman university in Quetta on Saturday which left 14 students martyred.

Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Monday that a joint investigation team has been constituted to probe into Balochistan’s recent terror incidents which claimed 24 lives according to him.

While bring the National Assembly members a day after his visit to Balochistan, Nisar told the house that there were contradictions in statements of police and other key security officials about number of attackers and nature of the which hit a university bus in Quetta.

Speaking in the National Assembly today‚ he said 24 people including 14 students were martyred in the bomb blasts in the university bus and Bolan Medical Complex.

He said a joint investigation team has been constituted to probe attack on Quaid-e-Azam’s residency in Ziarat.New security policy to be announced on 21 June

He said the team comprising personnel of different intelligence agencies will be headed by DIG.

He said findings of the report will be made public and presented before the house and assured that nothing will be hidden from the people.

The interior minister said that crime rate in Ziarat is very low. He said the Pashtun people of the area are very peaceful.

The Senate will hold its session at 4:00 in the evening.
