In their first warm-up game, Pakistan secured a comfortable seven-wicket victory against West Indies at the ICC Academy ground in Dubai on October 18.

Batting first, West Indies had set a target of 131 runs for Pakistan which in reply, reached it in 15.3 overs with 7 wickets in hand.

For Pakistan, Captain Babar Azam scored 50 runs while Fakhar Zaman was the second-highest scorer with an unbeaten 46.

Pakistan Fixtures in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021

Apart from the Pakistan-South Africa match, three more ICC T20 World Cup 2021 warm-up matches are being played on Wednesday.

England and New Zealand are up against each other at the Tolerance Oval while India vs Australia and Afghanistan vs West Indies matches are being held at the ICC Academy ground.

In previous warm-up matches, India, Australia, and South Africa emerged victorious in their respective games.

On the other hand, two matches in the first round of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 between Netherlands and Namibia and later between Ireland and Sri Lanka are scheduled today in Abu Dhabi.

As per the Points Table, Sri Lanka are leading Group A with 2 points followed by Ireland which have also 2 points but the better net run rate has pushed the former ahead.

In Group B, Scotland are atop with 4 points while Oman and Bangladesh with 2 points each stand behind.
