ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: While Pakistan is witnessing yet another surge in Coronavirus Cases with 4,950 new infections reported on July 30 and 65 more people succumbing to the virus, a record number of people 904,830 were vaccinated in a single day.

Now the Country has administered a total of 29,648,055 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to people since the beginning.

The latest statistics issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) showed that the COVID-19 positivity ratio remained 8.46% in the Country on July 30.

Balochistan- 5.29%

AJK- 21.74%

Gilgit-Baltistan- 10.24%

In the last 24 hours, 24 people died of Coronavirus in Sindh, 22 in Punjab, 12 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 4 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 2 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), and 1 in Balochistan.

In total, 1,029,811 Coronavirus Cases have so been reported across the Country since February 26, 2019.

Out of them, 380,093 Cases have been reported in Sindh, 356,211 in Punjab, 143,673 in KPK, 87,304 in ICT, 30,289 in Balochistan, 24,145 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 8,096 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Similarly, the Country has so far registered 23,360 deaths caused by the virus.

With 11,041 fatalities, Punjab is atop in terms of recording the highest number of COVID deaths. Sindh has recorded 5,971 deaths, KPK 4,456, ICT 801, AJK 622, Balochistan 328, and Gilgit-Baltistan 141.

Currently, 66,287 people are still suffering from the infection, and out of them, 3,614 patients are admitted in 639 hospitals having COVID facilities across the Country.
