ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The COVID-19 positivity ratio across Pakistan stood at 6.43 percent on Friday as out of 62,238 people tested for Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, 4,007 were found contracting the virus.

Additionally, 88 more people died of Coronavirus across the Country on May 21.

Of them, 35 people lost their lives in Punjab, 25 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 22 in Sindh, and 3 each in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

To date, the Country has recorded 897,468 Coronavirus Cases since the beginning.

Province-wise COVID-19 Cases:

Punjab – 333,057

Sindh – 306,707

Balochistan – 24,413

KPK – 129,013

AJK – 18,651

Gilgit-Baltistan – 5,471

Whereas in total 20,177 people have succumbed to the disease across the Country so far.

Province-wise COVID-19 Deaths:

Punjab – 9,739

Sindh – 4,891

KPK – 3,900

Balochistan – 270

ICT – 744

AJK – 526

Gilgit-Baltistan – 107

So far, 813,855 people have recovered from the infection across Pakistan while as of May 22, the total active COVID Cases in the Country are 63,436.
