ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan recorded further 5,312 COVID-19 Cases with a positive ratio of 9.96% and 105 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

The NCOC’s data showed that 54,948 COVID-19 tests were conducted across the Country on April 8, and 5,312 of them returned positive.

In the last 24 hours, 58 COVID-19 patients died in Punjab, 34 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 6 in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), 5 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 1 each in Sindh and Balochistan.

So far a total of 710,829 Coronavirus Cases have been detected across the Country including 267,970 in Sindh, 243,295 in Punjab, 96,128 in KPK, 64,173 in ICT, 20,097 in Balochistan, 14,069 in AJK, and 5,097 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Likewise, 15,229 COVID-19 patients have so far succumbed to the disease in the Country including 6,851 in Punjab, 4,521 in Sindh, 2,553 in KPK, 597 in ICT, 391 in AJK, 213 in Balochistan, and 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The NCOC’s data further showed that 625,789 patients have so far recovered from the disease across Pakistan.

There are 69,811 total Active COVID-19 Cass in Pakistan as of April 9.
