HeadlinesBokhari submits reply in NAB chief appointment case

ISLAMABAD: Admiral (retd.) Fasih Bokhari on Saturday filed his reply in the Supreme Court in connection with a petition challenging his appointment as NAB Chairman.

In his reply submitted through Advocate Latif Khosa, Mr Bokhari said Chaudhry Nisar challenged his appointment to malign President Asif Ali Zardari and get political mileage.

Nisar is no more leader of the opposition. Therefore, his petition has become ineffective no he argued.

People have rejected Chaudhry  Nisar on one national and one provincial assembly seats, he pointed out.

Bokhari said that how could the opposition leader, who could not recommend single name for the NAB chief, could ask for three-member panel.
