KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday held a meeting with Pakistan Muslim League – Functional (PML-F) President Pir Pagara Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi in Karachi and formally invited him to join the government at the centre, an offer which the PML-F chief accepted.

During the meeting, Pir Pagara felicitated Shahbaz Sharif over the success of his party in the May 11 elections and the two leaders exchanged views on issues pertaining to government formation at the centre and taking on the role of opposition in Sindh.

Earlier‚ briefly talking to newsmen on arrival at Karachi airport‚ Shahbaz Sharif said his party would work for the improvement of the law and order situation and betterment of the people of the Sindh.
