KashmirKashmiris to soon witness dawn of freedom, hopes VC AIOU

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Vice-Chancellor Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Professor Dr. Zial ul-Qayyum has urged upon the civilized, and democratic nations of the international community to take notice of Indian brutalities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

In his message on Kashmir Solidarity Day being observed on Friday, the Vice-Chancellor AIOU said that Pakistanis around the world observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day to reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering support for our Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their just cause of self-determination and freedom from the unlawful subjugation by the so-called biggest democracy (India).

Professor Dr. Zial ul-Qayyum said that besides the denial of democratic rights to the valiant Kashmiris for the last 73 years, the present Modi government has subjected them to an inhuman lockdown and communications blockade for almost one and a half years.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed the hope that this long tyranny will soon convert into freedom.

Professor Dr. Zial ul-Qayyum further said that the Pakistani nation, especially scholars, poets, teachers, lawyers, and civil rights activists would keep on supporting their Kashmiri brothers and sisters till they get their right of self-determination as per the UN Security Council resolutions.
