ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Brushing aside all rumours, the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has categorically said that Pakistan is not facing any pressure to recognize Israel.

In a statement on Tuesday, the minister said that Pakistan’s stance on Israel is clear, and we stick to it.

The foreign minister said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have deep, historical, and fraternal ties.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that a high-level Saud delegation including the Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud will be visiting Pakistan soon which reflects that Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations are further strengthening.

Turning to neighboring India, Qureshi said that India is using its land against Pakistan. He said that India is training terrorists and sponsoring banned organizations. He said that the EU DisinfoLab has unveiled India's nefarious designs about Pakistan. Referring to the opposition's protest campaign, the minister said that the opposition's narrative to bring the government under pressure has become ineffective.  The minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan enjoys public support; therefore, why he should resign on the desire of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
