ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong has said that China would extend all possible cooperation to Pakistan for enhancing bilateral media ties.

In a meeting with the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Syed Shibli Faraz in Islamabad on Wednesday, the Chinese envoy said that his Country has plans to invite a Pakistani media delegation to visit different Cities of China, once the COVID-19 pandemic subsides.

The ambassador also emphasized close coordination between media of the two Countries to rebut negativities regarding China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.Media ties - The Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong has said that China would extend all possible cooperation to Pakistan for enhancing bilateral media ties. The information minister also extended the invitation to his Chinese Counterpart to visit Pakistan to explore avenues for furthering cooperation in the fields of media and information. Senator Shibli Faraz also proposed training of media personnel in light of modern media concepts. The minister further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is keen to expedite CPEC projects. He also emphasized the need to highlight benefits of CPEC projects for the general public.

In his remarks, Shibli Faraz underlined the significance of enhancing Pakistan-China bilateral cooperation in the fields of media and culture.

The information minister also extended the invitation to his Chinese Counterpart to visit Pakistan to explore avenues for furthering cooperation in the fields of media and information.
