ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chinese Minister of National Defence General Wei Fenghe along with his delegation met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday.

In the meeting, Pakistan-China bilateral relations, defense cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest came under discussion.

The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, and the Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood were also present in the meeting.

Earlier in the morning, President Dr. Arif Alvi conferred Nishan-e-Imtiaz Military on the Chinese Defense Minister General Wei Fenghe in recognition of his services for further promoting and strengthen defense cooperation between Pakistan and China.

The Nishan-e-Imtiaz was conferred in a special Investiture Ceremony held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.

The Ceremony was attended by the Federal Ministers, the Services Chiefs, and other Senior Ranking Officials.
