LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas on Monday announced the schedule of the opening of all Public and Private Schools in Punjab.

The schedule is as per follows;

  • Classes 9-12 will start on August 15, 2020
  • Classes 6-8 will start on September 22, 2020
  • Classes Nursery-5 will start on September 30, 2020

Murad Raas said that all Public and Private Schools across Punjab will allow only 50 percent of students in one day while on the alternative days, the remaining 50 percent of students will be attending the Classes.

Likewise, no double shift on a single day will be allowed, the minister said.

The final decisions regarding the opening of schools across the Country were made in a meeting presided over by the Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood in Islamabad.

The Punjab Minister for Higher Education and Information Technology Raja Yasir Humayun Sarfraz, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan, the Provincial Education Ministers, the Education Secretaries, and Heads of School Systems attending the meeting.
