ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is committed to restore the real identity of Karachi as an Industrial City.
In a tweet on Saturday, he said that Karachi is the backbone of the economy of the Country, and its problems are our problems.
The information minister said that we cannot leave the people of Karachi at the mercy of the Sindh government that has destroyed the infrastructure of the City during their 12-year long rule.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Karachi today to get the Karachi Transformation Plan implemented to resolve the long-standing problems of the Metropolis.
The Karachi Transformation Plan is aimed at addressing the Provincial Capital’s long-pending problems like choked drainage and sewerage system, encroachments, poor waste disposal, water supply, and transport.
During his stay in Karachi, the prime minister will hold meetings with the Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Members of the Provincial Assembly, and Businessmen.
The prime minister will also hold a media briefing in which he will announce various development projects under the Karachi Transformation Plan.
