ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said the Muslim Minorities are not safe in India, and the blasphemous incident in the Hindu Majority Country has hurt the sentiments of Muslims.

In a statement on Thursday, the minister also expressed his surprise over the arrest and killing of Muslims in the wake of the incident.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International and other Human Rights Organizations to take notice of the incident. He argued that it is not an internal issue but that of the humanity. The foreign minister said that Pakistan has the right to raise this issue. He said that we took up the matter with the officials of Indian High Commission yesterday and gave our reaction. Qureshi further said that Pakistan is raising the issue of Islamophobia at every international forum.
