Islamabad, Pakistan: President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi has expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan, China, and Turkey for their categorical stance over Kashmir cause, reports DND News Agency.

While addressing at the Senate of Pakistan here on Wednesday, President Arif Alvi stated that Pakistan will always stand by their Kashmiri brethren and will not leave them alone.

He said the new map released by the government yesterday is (was) actually based on reality.

He believed that the Kashmiri people have (had) been facing brutalities over the last many decades but these intensified over the last one year.

He said extrajudicial killings have increased in the Occupied valley while the Kashmiri leadership have illegal been detained. He said that 13000 Kashmiri youth have also been arrested over the last one year. Other crimes that have been committed against the Kashmiri people include communication blackouts and stopping medical supplies as well as the access of humanitarian agencies to the territory.

The President said that the illegal action of last year was immoral and contrary to international laws including the Geneva Convention.

He appreciated presidents of Azerbaijan, China, and Turkey for standing with Pakistan over Kashmir cause and stated that President Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of China Xi Jinping and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a firm and unshaken and clear stance of Kashmir and raised voice along with Pakistan over Kashmir issue and situation of Indian Occupied Kashmir.
