RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza visited the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Monday.

The CJCSC was received by the Commander Army Air Defence Command & National Coordinator NCOC Lieutenant General Hamood Uz Zaman Khan.

The Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi and the Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan also accompanied the CJCSC during the visit.

General Nadeem Raza was briefed in detail about the latest situation on containment efforts and enforcement measures against COVID-19, projections about likely spread of the disease in Pakistan and support being extended to civil administration against pandemic.

The CJCSC lauded extraordinary efforts of NCOC for synergising National effort and data driven input to all stake holders for timely and informed decision making in short span of time.

"As you know, my country has launched an initiative on ammunition. By the end of the year, 500,000 large-caliber shells will be delivered. We will not stop there. We will continue to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the necessary support," the Czech Foreign Minister emphasized.
