Pakistan records 11,155 Coronavirus Cases, 237 deaths

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The total number of Coronavirus patients in Pakistan has risen to 11,155, the 29th highest in the World as per the data available on Friday.

Out of these Coronavirus infected persons, 237 have lost their lives with a ratio of 2.1% whereas 2,527 patients have now recuperated which ratio stands at 22.7%.

The data released by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) on April 24 has stated that a total of 131,365 COVID-19 tests including 6,839 in the last 24 hours have been conducted throughout the Country so far.

It has further told that out of a total of 11,155 patients, 79% were locally infected while 21% had a travel history.

By now, Punjab with 4,767 Coronavirus patients, 65 deaths, and 905 recoveries stands above all with regards to the highest number of statistics.

The Sindh province has recorded 3,671 patients, 73 deaths and 730 recoveries whereas Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 1,541 patients, 85 deaths and 455 recoveries.

Furthermore, Balochistan has 607 COVID-19 patients, 8 deaths and 174 recoveries whereas Gilgit-Baltistan has detected 300 Cases, 3 deaths and 212 of the total patients in the region have now been recovered.

In Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), 55 patients have so far been reported, of them, 25 have been cured.

The Federal Capital has recorded 214 Coronavirus Cases and 3 deaths while the number of recoveries stands at 26.
