ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan will participate in a Live Telethon Transmission to be aired on PTV and 92 News at 05:00 pm on Friday in a bid to generate donations for the Corona Relief Fund, Senator Faisal Javed Khan said on Thursday.
In his televised address to the nation on March 20, Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced the Relief Fund for COVID-19, appealing to Pakistanis across the globe as well as living in the Country to make their donations for the Coronavirus affectees.
On his Twitter account, the Senator told that Pakistan Television Cooperation (PTV) and 92 News Channel will telecast the Telethon Transmission Live.
Faisal Javed said that the transmission will also go Live in Saudi Arabia, Canada, the United States, and Europe.

Senator Faisal Javed said that anyone willing to contribute in the Corona Relief Fund can send his/her tax deductible donations to NBP A/C No 4162786786. He said that the fund will be used to take care of all those who have been made destitute by the lockdown.
The contributions in the fund will be tax free and tax incentives will be given to tax filing persons.
Earlier on April 1, the ARY Digital Network also organized the Telethon Transmission for the Prime Minister’s COVID-19 Relief Fund, in which showbiz & sports celebrities, business community members and others announced donations.
