ISLAMABAD: Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the wife of the detained Kashmiri leader Mohammad Yasin Malik, has made it clear that time is ripe to hammer out a comprehensive policy to rid the Occupied Kashmir valley of the brutal and unlawful clutches of Indian occupation forces.

Speaking at a function at Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad on Monday, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, who is also the Peace and Culture Organization Chairperson, said that Kashmir dispute has entered into a phase of ‘Now or Never’; hence there is a need of a collective and joint efforts to press the world to resolve the long-pending Kashmir dispute as per the aspirations of the Kashmir people.

Mushaal Mullick said that India always hoodwinked and defrauded the Kashmir on the mantra of dialogue; hence no one now trusts the notorious Indian government to resolve the Kashmir dispute amicably as per the UN agreed formula of the plebiscite.

Therefore, Mushaal stressed the need to raise the Kashmir issue vociferously at all fora globally so as to press the Indian government to resolve the issue once and for all.

The Chairperson said that she graduated from this university and the Allah Almighty chose her to become the voice of Kashmiri people who have been reeling under Indian brutalities and barbarism for the last 70 years.

She said that her husband Yasin Malik is very brave a person, who has been facing all Indian state barbarism with great courage to break the shackle of Indian slavery, adding that she devoted his life to Kashmir cause after marrying Yasin Malik.

While commenting on the article370, Mushaal said that India violated all international laws by abrogating the article 370, as the occupied authorities deprived the scenic valley of all constitutional rights.

She said that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi violated the united nation resolutions by stripping the special status of Kashmir; however, she expressed her surprise that even the world powers and the UN bodies didn’t do the courage to utter a word against the Indian government for its unlawful and unconstitutional move.

Mushaal said that the BJP government has wanted to occupy the Kashmiri land under the guise of the notorious law, adding that Indian elections in Kashmir are just a farce.

She also said that India wanted to stop the water flowing to Pakistan which would surely create problems for Pakistan since Pakistan being the agricultural country. She said that Kashmiri people needed the Pakistani government and its public support so as to ensure resolution of the decades-long Kashmir dispute as per the wishes of the Kashmiri people, who have facing Indian atrocities and inhuman acts for the last 70 years.
