KUWAIT CITY: The Ambassador of Pakistan to Kuwait Syed Sajjad Haider met the Amir of Kuwait His Highness Shaikh Al-Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the Amiri Diwan.

The ambassador conveyed best wishes of Pakistan’s leadership to the Amir of Kuwait for his health and for the progress and prosperity of Kuwait.

Ambassador Syed Sajjad Haider underscored that Pakistan is looking forward to enhance its bilateral cooperation with Kuwait in all spheres for mutual benefit of the two Countries.

The ambassador also raised the issue of visa restrictions on Pakistani citizens in Kuwait.

The Amir of Kuwait assured his full support for enhancement of bilateral relations between the two Countries.

Shaikh Al-Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also emphasised that issue of visa restrictions need to be further discussed between the Countries for way forward.

The Amir also stated that he would like to visit Pakistan at the first opportunity. He conveyed his greetings and wishes for people and leadership of Pakistan.

Earlier on the arrival of Ambassador Syed Sajjad Haider at the Royal Palace, an impressive guard of honour was given to him and national anthems of Pakistan and Kuwait were played.
