LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister’s Spokesperson Dr Shahbaz GiLL has tendered his resignation over differences in appointments/transfers matters in the province.

In a statement as per the sources cited by media reports, Shahbaz Gill said that it had become difficult to defend the dismal governance in Punjab.

 

However, a piece of paper being circulated in social media, and which is being described as Shahbaz Gill’s resignation letter to the Chief Minister Punjab, hasn’t mentioned any reason behind his decision.

The Punjab Chief Minister’s Advisor Aown Chaudhry has also been removed from his post, and replaced by Asif Mehmood.

Separately, the Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has accorded his approval to induct Asad Khokhar in the Provincial Cabinet.

Asad Khokhar will take the Oath as the Provincial Minister today.
