ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A Commemoration Seminar on “Remembering Srebrenica 1995-2019” will be held in Islamabad on Monday (July 8, 2019).
The Seminar will be organized by the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) in Collaboration with the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at Serena Hotel in Islamabad at 04:00 pm PST.
The event will begin with the recitation of the Holy Quran/Prayer and Fatiha followed by a Short Video regarding the genocide.
Afterwards, the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Pakistan His Excellency Sakib Foric, and the former Ambassador of Pakistan to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the President CGSS Major General (retd) Major General Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery will address the participants.
The Editor ‘The News International’ Mr. Amir Ghauri will present the poetry “Remembering of Srebrenica”.
The Commanding Officer Pakistan Amy Contingent UPROFOR Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina Major General (retd) Qasim Qureshi, the Assistant Professor at Department of Law in International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Dr Susic Sejo, and the former Federal Interior Minister and the Chairman of Standing Committee of Interior Senator Rehman Malik as the Chief Guest will also speak at the Seminar.
In addition, the Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood will also be present in the event.
