ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Center for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) will organize a Conference: “Enduring Rivalry – Post Indian Election Scenario in Occupied Kashmir” in Islamabad on May 23, 2019.

The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan will be the Chief Guest at the Conference.

The event will go underway with the Opening Remarks by the President CGSS Major General (retd) Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery followed by the address of Sardar Masood Khan on “Kashmir: A pivot of Indo-Pak Crisis”.

The former High Commissioner of Pakistan to India Ambassador Abdul Basit will speak on “India’s General Elections 2019: Impact on Kashmir”, whereas the former Federal Law Minister Ahmer Bilal Soofi will deliver his address on “India’s Human Rights Violations in Kashmir and Role of United Nations”.

The Guest of Honor Social Worker/Hurriyat Leader Ms. Mushaal Mullick will shed light on “Kashmir’s Freedom Movement” and the former Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Zamir Akram will speak on “Growing plight of Kashmiris and Silence of International Community”.

Likewise, Lieutenant General (retd) Ghulam Mustafa will speak on “Geo-strategic Importance of Kashmir: India’s Struggle for Regional Hegemony”, while the Professor at Department of Politics and IR in International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) Dr Muhammad Khan will speak on “Ethnic cleansing: Victimization of Muslims in Kashmir”.

Referring to announcement of Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský, Ukrinform reports that Czech Republic will continue to provide support to Ukraine to repel and stop Russian aggression. "As you know, my country has launched an initiative on ammunition. By the end of the year, 500,000 large-caliber shells will be delivered. We will not stop there.
