MULTAN, Pakistan: As part of its Nationwide Conferences based on the theme of “Pakistaniat”, the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) will hold another Conference “The Contours of National Unity” on April 8 in collaboration with Muhammad Nawaz Shareef (MNS) University of Agriculture Multan.

The Conference will be held at Mehboob Ali auditorium, Central Cotton Research Institute in Multan.

Following dignitaries will speak at the Conference;

  • President CGSS Major General (retd) Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery.
  • Vice Chancellor MNS-University of Agriculture Multan Professor Dr Asif Ali.
  • Chairman Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission Ahmed Yar Hiraj on “Contours of National Unity”.
  • The former Federal Minister of Defence Lieutenant General (retd) Naeem Khalid Lodhi on “Ideology and Principles of Pakistan; A Historic Perspective”.
  • The former Federal Minister of Information Mohammad Ali Durrani on “Pakistaniat – The Way Forward”.
  • The Senior Member Advisory Board CGSS Brigadier (retd) Akhtar Nawaz Janjua on “Ethnic Division of Pakistan and its Impact on Nation Building”.
  • The Lecturer Islamic Studies at MNS-University of Agriculture Multan Rasheed Ahmed on “Khita-e-Azam”.
  • The Assistant Professor at Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology Multan Dr Amir Furqan on “Hub-ul-Watni Kay Shaoori Taqazay”.

Ukraine to receive 500,000 artillery shells by yearend from Czech Republic Monitoring Desk: In dire need to counter Russian aggression, Ukraine will receive 500,000 shells of various calibers by the end of this year from Czech Republic, reports Ukrinform. Referring to announcement of Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský, Ukrinform reports that Czech Republic will continue to provide support to Ukraine to repel and stop Russian aggression. "As you know, my country has launched an initiative on ammunition. By the end of the year, 500,000 large-caliber shells will be delivered. We will not stop there. We will continue to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the necessary support," the Czech Foreign Minister emphasized.
