RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Indian forces martyred a woman and injured another in Shahkot Sector along the Line of Control (LoC) on Wednesday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

In a Tweet, the Director General ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said that the Indian army continued to demonstrate a nonprofessional conduct.

The director general ISPR said that besides atrocities in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), Indian forces are violating the ceasefire agreement as they again targeted the civilian population in Shahkot Sector across the LoC.

“A woman shaheed another injured,” he said adding that such acts can’t suppress indigenous freedom struggle of brave Kashmiris in IOK.

Earlier on Monday, the Indian forces martyred a civilian Azeem and injured a woman along the LoC in Bagsar Sector.

Last year, the Indian forces carried out more than 2350 ceasefire violations along the LoC and the Working Boundary, resulting in the shahadats (martyrdom) of 36 innocent civilians while injuring 142 others.
