LAHORE, Pakistan: The renowned Islamic Scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel is absolutely alright and currently admitted in a private hospital in Lahore, said a source close to him.

Earlier reports said that Maulana Tariq Jameel suffered a cardiac arrest last night after he arrived in Lahore from Canada.

However according to the source, travel fatigue and hectic schedule caused Maulana Tariq Jameel’s health to deteriorate.

The source said that on early Tuesday morning there was a slight pain in Maulana’s chest, and doctors recommended an angiography. He said that his angiography will be held in afternoon.

“Maulana is absolutely alright and currently admitted in a private hospital in Lahore,” the sources said.

“I have just talked and he is absolutely alright. There is absolutely no heart attack,” he said.

Meanwhile in a Tweet, the Senior Punjab Minister Abdul Aleem Khan prayed for the early recovery of Maulana Tariq Jameel.

Abdul Aleem Khan also paid a glowing tribute to Maulana for his services for Islam and the people.
