ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The fireworks will be on display from 11:55 pm to 00:10 am tonight at Islamabad Parade Ground to mark the New Year 2019.

The New Year Celebrations across the World have already started from Samoa, a small Pacific Country, becoming the first Country which welcomed 2019 with New Zealand following in less than an hour.

Over 24 hours, Cities across the World will gradually sign off 2018 and welcome the New Year, starting in the Pacific heading across Asia then Europe and finally the Americas.

Pakistan will welcome 2019 at 12:00 am tonight, for which, various events to celebrate the New Year Night have been organized.

Besides an incredible New Year fireworks at Islamabad Parade Ground, Ultra Adventure Club & We Islamabadians joined by families will also celebrate the New Year Night from 07:00 pm to 12:00 am in the Federal Capital.

Likewise, Sadhu’s Retreat and The Fossils Restaurant will also organize New Year dinner, sky lanterns, fireworks, bonfire and music from 11:00 pm to 12:00 am.

Meanwhile, a special traffic plan has been devised in the Capital City while additional contingent of police will be deployed at Shopping Malls and large Business Centres in Islamabad, according to the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Traffic.
