ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has sought the assistance and guidance from Ulema (religious scholars) to build an Islamic Welfare State in Pakistan.

Talking to an Ulema delegation at PTI’s Central Secretariat in Islamabad on Tuesday, the PTI Secretary General Arshad Dad said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf under the leadership of Imran Khan is endeavoring to form an Islamic Welfare State in the Country on the pattern of Madina State.

Therefore, they require the help and guidance of Ulema for the formation of an Islamic Welfare State, he added.PTI seeks Ulema’s help and guidance to build Islamic Welfare State in Pakistan

PTI wishes Islamic Welfare State in Pakistan on pattern of Madina State

The PTI secretary general said that PTI highly values the role of Ulema in the promotion of Quran and Sunnah. He noted that since Pakistan Movement till now, Ulema have always played an active role in national life in every phase of history.

“Ulema are an important part of our national existence,” Arshad Dad said.

Moreover, he apprised the delegation that bringing Madaris (religious seminaries) into mainstream is among cornerstones of PTI’s manifesto. He said that they plan to bring comprehensive reforms in Madaris in consultation with Ulema.

Arshad Dad also said that they will politically energize and organize Ulema throughout the Country.
