ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan said vote would be considered as rejected if ballot paper is marked other than 9-Box stamp.
Issuing the directions to Returning Officers related to acceptance or rejection of votes‚ the commission said marking the ballot paper in front of desired candidate with 9-blocks stamp provided by the Presiding Officer will be mandatory. Marking the ballot paper with any special identification mark will be illegal.
It is said major portion of the stamp will decide the result of a vote in favor of any candidate if it is divided into two candidates.
